KiD – THE HIP HOP REBEL
With no lead to follow but his own, KiD born Samuel Malachai Coleman is a hip -hop legend in the making with nothing to lose. His parents dyeing sparked the beginning of a harsh childhood while in and out of foster homes(27Foster Homes, 13Group Homes and 4Shelters) has fueled his drive to succeed as well as his music. While his goal is to be heard & create a unique voice in the rap game, his rebellion can be categorized into pure artistry.
Being a fan of music outside of hip-hop steered KiD into rapping on accident, known as a freestyle artist, KiD believes that his way of words paint pictures that can only be created in a way people can see what he sees. His influence stems from his everyday life experiences and plays an integral part of his creativity in writing music.
Described as an avid songwriter, KiD has worked with various artist & producers including Rob Jones, Eric Bellinger, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, MiDi Mafia, LiL Durk, Jazze Pha and DJ Scream. Along with a passion for song writing, he has become quite the artist himself opening up for multiple recording artist including Lil’ Wayne, Young Jeezy, T.I, Jim Jones, Rick Ross and Drake.
KID distinguishes himself of an abstract caliber being the “kid” evolving from nothing to something coining his “Look At Me Now Swag.” With a promising future, KiD thrives off his success in proving everyone wrong with the release of his awaited Mix-tape “New Kings” in 2014. Aiming to build a team and credibility for his label YKMG (Yung Kings Music Group) and his self within the industry, failing isn’t an option.
